Overview

This is a full time position located in East Lansing, Michigan. This position works very closely with the Development Manager and requires a person with existing C# .NET and SQL skills at a minimum. The candidate will be required to translate business requirements into workable programming code and maintain and develop programs for the Clients use. Some opportunities for telecommuting may be extended following successful training period, but will be at Managers discretion.


Responsibilities:
  • Resolve users' questions or problems in the areas of website functionality and bugs/enhancements
  • Empower customers to resolve common issues without support intervention
  • Keep users informed of how and when problems are resolved
  • Follow up and test all modifications to system
  • Ensure a positive, high quality professional service-oriented relationship with the users by complying with all technical support policies and procedures
  • Work within a team environment to facilitate constant improvements on website
  • Develop specs and project plans for estimation and implementation of system enhancements and new client launches
Qualifications / Skills:
  • .NET and C# skills are vital to this position
  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML, database management
  • Some knowledge of networking and IIS, and willingness to assist with system duties when assigned
  • Good analytical, math, research and writing skills; keen attention to details
  • Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment and work under pressure
  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • General accounting knowledge preferred
  • SQL or any basic server side web programming languages

Enliven Software, an East Lansing based eInvoicing and ePayments company is hiring for a Technical Support position to work with its Fidesic platform team. The candidate will be required to translate business requirements into workable programming code and maintain and develop programs for the Clients use. Some opportunities for telecommuting may be extended following successful training period, but will be at Managers discretion.


Responsibilities:
  • Answer calls, emails, and chat to support customers
  • Document support issues and requests
  • Communicate issues effectively between end user and development team
  • Test and evaluate new features and enhancements
  • Assist with data entry and analysis
  • Provide reporting and analytics
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effectively multi-task and excel in fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications quickly
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong technical knowledge of computers
