To add to this problem, in 2012 Modern Luxury nearly doubled in size with a large acquisition. With over 100 users involved in the invoice approval process, any level of manual intervention was going to create a problem for Modern Luxury. Fortunately, Fidesic workflows route invoices to the correct approver based on the data within the invoices. They can be routed automatically by vendor, GL, amount or anything else on the document. This workflow can be complex with as many stages as it takes to get the correct approval or as simple as the user needs.
“The time we save with automation allows us to keep our staff lean and continue to grow,” said Blair.
Modern Luxury has also gained complete visibility into their approval process from start to finish. They can see who’s approval queue an invoice is currently in, how long it’s been there, and reroute if necessary. Best of all, after an invoice has been approved, it imports directly into their GP platform without any manual entry required.
